KIRA SED Foundation
Est. 2024
KIRA SED Foundation was formally our Partner L’arc-en-ciel, an inclusive early childhood program in Musanze, Rwanda. Founder, Alberto, and Director, Grace, formed a Board in 2025 to create KIRA. KIRA envisions a world where education empowers new generations to build a just, inclusive, and sustainable society. Their objectives are to promote high-quality social emotional education, beginning at the nursery and primary school levels; raise community awareness for an inclusive society; and serve children from disadvantaged backgrounds. Schools, such as L’arc-en-ciel, and specialized programs, like our friends at Ineza Kabaya, will now fall under KIRA’s foundation. Other programs and schools in the community can seek KIRA for training, which will be supported by ECI’s team.
Our Services
L' arc-en-ciel
L’arc en-ciel, meaning "the rainbow" in French, is an early childhood inclusive school founded by our friend Alberto and directed by Grace. They offer 3 classrooms for children ages 3-5. ECI's team provides hands-on training to their team.
Ineza Kabaya
Ineza Kabaya is a day program and boarding facility for individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities run by husband and wife team, Antoinette and Gervaish. Their slogan is "Disability is not inability" and we couldn't agree more!
